Bounty Share Crop Owner Release of Liability

I understand that gleaning on my property involves some risks – for the protection of all involved, this disclaimer is necessary. While every effort will be made by staff and volunteers to respect and care for the property and avoid damage to crops, l acknowledge that Bounty Share is not responsible for incidental damage that may occur during the glean.

I confirm that I have the authority to grant permission for gleaning activities on the property, and I understand that Bounty Share maintains its own liability insurance covering its operations, staff, volunteers, and representatives.

To encourage the continuation and expansion of gleaning events, I give permission for Bounty Share, and anyone approved to be involved with a Bounty Share gleaning event, to take photos or videos of my crop, farm, and gleaning activities for planning and promotional purposes. Those involved with the gleaning event will also have the right and permission to copyright and/or use, reuse and/or publish and/or republish the aforementioned pictures or videos for the purpose of illustration, advertising and promoting gleaning events and/or participants working with and supporting Bounty Share.

I release Bounty Share, its staff, volunteers, board members, or representatives (each considered one of the "releases" herein) from any liability or claims related to injuries, damage, accidents, or death that may occur on my property during the glean.

Oregon law does provide liability protection for property owners and gleaners acting in good faith, except in cases of gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct (ORS 30.890)
